Big, bogus question. How do I know it’s not butter? Not a real question. If something works, is discovered to be of benefit, etc… it doesn’t matter if it’s AI or not. In this case, the ends justify the means. The real problem is trust. Do we take something to be real & true on trust, and should we trust AI? Well, why should we trust anything, AI or not? If the public places trust blindly, they will be deceived and taken advantage of. This has always been true.
